The Oprah quote above resonates particularly this year. Weve all had a hard time, and weve all found unexpected strength in our struggles.

Some authors have told me they do practically the same thing they did prior to the pandemic – stay at home and compose. Other writers have informed me their world has actually altered and they are combating to earn a living. Still more have informed me the state of the world has dropped them into despair.

Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling particularly hard. The typical Independence Day rules do not apply this year.

However we do need to know … How are you doing? How are you truly doing? Are you tranquil, concerned, coping, having a hard time, composing, obstructed, crazy, or something else? We would love to understand if you want to share.
