Some writers have told me they do practically the exact same thing they did prior to the pandemic – stay at home and compose. Other writers have actually told me their world has changed and they are battling to make a living. Still more have actually told me the state of the world has plunged them into misery.
But this isnt a political post, this is a “how are you doing, actually” post. We genuinely need to know.
Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling particularly hard. The typical Independence Day guidelines do not use this year.
We hear you. We see you. We definitely believe in you, and your ability to dig deep to find your story.
The Oprah quote above resonates especially this year. Weve all had a hard time, and weve all found unanticipated strength in our struggles.
Many of us behind the scenes are dragging. All of us are working hard to keep our spirits up to write another day.
