We’re Celebrating Our Readers Today

Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling particularly hard. The typical Independence Day rules do not use this year.

It is an understatement to say it has been a difficult a number of months worldwide. In the face of this pandemic, a number of our readers here at WITS are dragging. Much of us behind the scenes are dragging. Everyone are striving to keep our spirits up to write another day.

But this isnt a political post, this is a “how are you doing, actually” post. We truly wish to know.

But we do wish to know … How are you doing? How are you really doing? Are you peaceful, worried, coping, having a hard time, writing, obstructed, insane, or something else? If you are willing to share, we would like to understand.

Some writers have actually informed me they do practically the same thing they did prior to the pandemic – stay at home and compose. Other writers have told me their world has actually altered and they are fighting to earn a living. Still more have informed me the state of the world has plummeted them into anguish.

The Oprah quote above resonates especially this year. Weve all struggled, and weve all discovered unexpected strength in our battles.

Today we pick to celebrate YOU, our composing household online. We are blessed that you select to hang around with us weekly, each month, every year. We would like to know how you are doing.

We hear you. We see you. We absolutely think in you, and your capability to dig deep to discover your story.

What are you dealing with? And what unforeseen strengths have you found?

Big Hugs to YOU, from Your Team at Writers In the Storm
