The Oprah quote above resonates especially this year. Weve all had a hard time, and weve all found unforeseen strength in our struggles.

Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling especially hard. The usual Independence Day guidelines do not apply this year. There are no parties, no fireworks, no parades. Health authorities are universal in their message: “The most patriotic thing Americans can do this year is to stay at house.” Everybody does not agree.
