Today we choose to celebrate YOU, our composing household online. We are blessed that you pick to spend time with us each week, each month, every year. We need to know how you are doing.
The Oprah quote above resonates particularly this year. Weve all struggled, and weve all found unforeseen strength in our struggles.
Some authors have told me they do practically the exact same thing they did prior to the pandemic – stay at home and write. Other writers have informed me their world has actually changed and they are battling to make a living. Still more have informed me the state of the world has plummeted them into anguish.
However this isnt a political post, this is a “how are you doing, actually” post. We truly need to know.
Numerous of us behind the scenes are dragging. All of us are working hard to keep our spirits up to write another day.
Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling especially hard. The typical Independence Day guidelines do not use this year.
However we do need to know … How are you doing? How are you really doing? Are you tranquil, concerned, coping, having a hard time, writing, blocked, crazy, or something else? We would enjoy to understand if you want to share.
We hear you. We see you. We absolutely believe in you, and your ability to dig deep to discover your story.
What are you dealing with? And what unanticipated strengths have you discovered?
Big Hugs to YOU, from Your Team at Writers In the Storm
