We’re Celebrating Our Readers Today

Numerous of us behind the scenes are dragging. All of us are working hard to keep our spirits up to compose another day.

This isnt a political post, this is a “how are you doing, actually” post. We genuinely need to know.

Some writers have informed me they do basically the very same thing they did prior to the pandemic – stay at home and write. Other authors have informed me their world has altered and they are battling to earn a living. Still more have informed me the state of the world has plunged them into anguish.

Today we select to celebrate YOU, our writing family online. We are blessed that you choose to hang around with us weekly, on a monthly basis, every year. We would like to know how you are doing.

We hear you. We see you. We absolutely believe in you, and your capability to dig deep to find your story.

The Oprah quote above resonates especially this year. Weve all struggled, and weve all discovered unexpected strength in our struggles.

Here in the United States, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling particularly hard. The normal Independence Day guidelines do not use this year. There are no celebrations, no fireworks, no parades. Health authorities are universal in their message: “The most patriotic thing Americans can do this year is to remain at house.” Everyone does not concur.

Are you tranquil, anxious, coping, having a hard time, writing, blocked, insane, or something else? We would love to know if you are ready to share.

What are you struggling with? And what unexpected strengths have you discovered?

Big Hugs to YOU, from Your Team at Writers In the Storm
