Today we pick to celebrate YOU, our writing household online. We are blessed that you choose to hang out with us every week, monthly, every year. We wish to know how you are doing.
The Oprah quote above resonates particularly this year. Weve all struggled, and weve all found unanticipated strength in our battles.
Some authors have told me they do quite much the same thing they did before the pandemic – stay at home and compose. Other authors have told me their world has altered and they are combating to make a living. Still more have told me the state of the world has plummeted them into misery.
We hear you. We see you. We absolutely think in you, and your ability to dig deep to find your story.
But we do need to know … How are you doing? How are you really doing? Are you peaceful, anxious, coping, having a hard time, composing, obstructed, crazy, or something else? If you are willing to share, we would like to understand.
It is an understatement to state it has been a difficult several months worldwide. In the face of this pandemic, many of our readers here at WITS are dragging. A number of us behind the scenes are dragging. Everybody are striving to keep our spirits up to write another day.
Here in the US, with COVID case counts spiking, things are feeling particularly hard. The normal Independence Day guidelines do not use this year.
